Dr. Reiter has met state and national requirements for licensure and certification in audiology and hearing aid dispensing. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology, and a nationally certified member of the American Speech Language and Hearing Association. Our patients can be confident that they will receive competent and comprehensive hearing health care services.
Levi A. Reiter
Ph.D.
Dr. Reiter is Full Professor of Audiology and Hearing Sciences at Hofstra University. In the past 27 years, he has personally trained many of the audiologists practicing today in the metropolitan area and beyond. He teaches courses in: Advanced Audiology, Physiological and Psychological Acoustics, Auditory Pathologies, Objective Procedures in Audiologic Diagnosis, Audiologic Instrumentation, among others.
Dr. Reiter has been awarded two post doctoral fellowships in Audiology from the National Institutes of Health. He is also the author of numerous publications appearing in professional journals in Audiology, Psychology, and Medicine.
